Sacramento Ballet has announced its 2022 Open Youth Auditions for Nutcracker, Tchaikovsky’s beloved ballet, an annual hometown tradition. The audition — this year held on September 10, 2022 — is open to all youth between the ages of 7 and 18 years old who are interested in rehearsing and performing with the renowned company this fall and throughout the December holiday season.

For so many in Northern California, SacBallet’s youth audition day is the first sign that the 2022 holidays are coming. So, we must ensure that our cast of shooting stars, candy canes, soldiers, mice, and party children are in place because, without them, there is no Nutcracker!
