Welcome to the School of Sacramento Ballet – Roseville Campus

We are proud to expand our School with the opening of our Roseville Campus, building on the longstanding legacy of Northern California Dance Conservatory. This next chapter honors the strong foundation created over decades while introducing new opportunities for dancers and families.

Open to students ages 8-18, The Roseville Campus will offer programming aligned with our Sacramento location, ensuring a cohesive training experience rooted in excellence, creativity, and community. Classes will continue at Opal Studios, with students also benefiting from connection to Sacramento Ballet’s broader programs and resources.

Families can expect the same supportive, high-quality environment they know and trust, alongside thoughtful enhancements that reflect our vision for the future of dance education in the region.

In order to ensure that each dancer is placed in the most effective training environment, a placement class is required for all level except Level 1 before enrolling.

Lower Division

As students progress through the Lower Division, they are introduced to increasingly advanced ballet technique. To support their development, the number of required classes and weekly training hours gradually increases each year.  Level 1 does not require experience or a placement class.  Level 2 and above require a placement class to enroll.

Upper Division

The Upper Division is made up of advanced ballet students with 6-10 years of dance education.  Female students should have at least 2 years of pointe.

All new Upper Division Students need to take a placement class before enrolling for classes.  Once you have signed up for the placement class, we will contact you to arrange a time.

Each level has a different cost, but they are all paid in 9 equal installments on the 15th of each month.

If you are interested in scheduling a placement class, please register via the placement class link below:
