Mia Steedle

Mia Steedle is from Boston, MA, where she trained at Boston Ballet School. She has danced professionally with Boston Ballet, Kansas City Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet, and as a freelance artist before joining Sacramento Ballet as a Company Artist in 2024.

At Sacramento Ballet, her roles have included Juliet in Young Soon Hue’s Romeo and Juliet, the Snow Queen and Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, Lilac Fairy in Sleeping Beauty, and Dark Angel in George Balanchine’s Serenade. She has also appeared as a guest artist with Boston Ballet in Swan Lake on tour in Los Angeles, and as the Sugar Plum Fairy at the Hanover Conservatory & Theatre in Worcester, MA.

Mia is an alumna of the Jacob’s Pillow Contemporary Ballet Program and the Chautauqua Institution, where she worked with Patricia McBride and Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux and performed in George Balanchine’s Rubies and Raymonda Variations. She also attended summer programs at the School of American Ballet and Canada’s National Ballet School.

Her repertoire includes George Balanchine’s Coppélia, Marius Petipa’s Giselle, Sir Frederick Ashton’s Cinderella, Christopher Wheeldon’s This Bitter Earth, Septime Webre’s The Wizard of Oz and ALICE (in Wonderland), Michael Pink’s Dracula, and Gerald Arpino’s Confetti.
