Mia Steedle

Mia Steedle is from Boston, MA where she trained at Boston Ballet School before joining Boston Ballet II. She has danced professionally with Kansas City Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet, and as a freelance artist with Moving Arts Co and Owen/Cox Dance Group.

Mia is an alumni of the Jacob’s Pillow Contemporary Ballet Program where she worked with Annabelle Lopez Ochoa and Jennifer Archibald. She also spent many summers at Chautauqua Institution working with Patricia McBride and Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux where she performed in George Balanchine’s “Rubies,” “Raymonda Variations,” and more.

She joined Sacramento Ballet as a Company Artist in 2024, and has since performed in productions with the company including Michael Pink’s “Dracula” and as Juliet in Young Soon Hue’s “Romeo and Juliet.” This past summer she guested with Boston Ballet in their production of “Swan Lake” on tour to Los Angeles, CA.

Some of her other repertoire includes George Balanchine’s “Serenade” and “Coppélia,” Marius Petipa’s “Giselle,” Sir Frederick Ashton’s “Cinderella,” Christopher Wheeldon’s “This Bitter Earth,” Septime Webre’s “The Wizard of Oz” and “ALICE (in wonderland)” and Gerald Arpino’s “Confetti.”
