Young Dancers Intensive 2024
Two Separate 1 Week Sessions (Ages 7 – 9 yrs. old)
Duration: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 1:00pm.
Session 1: July 1 – 5, 2024
Session 2: July 22 – 26, 2024
Students in the Young Dancer’s Intensive continue to hone their technique, artistry, musicality and performance skills in a fun, nurturing and creative environment. They develop their Ballet Technique, while exploring dance styles, such as modern, hip-hop, contemporary and jazz.
Session 1 students will join a local 4th of July Parade in costumes.
There will be a mini performance at the end of each session.
Our mission at the Summer Intensive ballet program is to nurture and develop aspiring dancers with a passion for ballet. Through a rigorous and comprehensive curriculum, we provide an immersive and transformative experience that equips dancers with the technical skills and resilience necessary to thrive in the demanding world of ballet.

Tuition $300 per week
This tuition is required to reserve a place in the program and is nonrefundable.

Friday, July 26, 2024 Final Day of Session 2 and the mini performance at 12:45pm
- Face masks are optional for all students
- In class: only small stud earrings are permitted – no other jewelry
- Hair must be neat and secured away from the face
- When dancers arrive and leave the building they must wear street clothing over their dancewear
- Warm-up booties may only be worn in the studios – not outside
- Shoes: pink or skin tone color ballet shoes for girls, black ballet shoes for boy
- Attire: Girls: Any color leotards, pink or skin-tone tights, Boys: Black leggings or tights, white t-shirt
Vaccinations are not required. Masks are optional at the moment but can be required if Sacramento County goes to a red level. There is not an on-site medical nurse. Sutter Medical Hospital is 4 blocks away. We have an Osteopathic Physical Therapist who is ready to provide referrals and will also be conducting a lecture and Q&A session on injury prevention.
