Children’s Division | 2025-26 School Year
Our Children’s Division is for very young dancers ages 2-7, just beginning their journey in dance education. The division begins with parent participation classes for toddlers, all the way up to pre-ballet classes where dancers are introduced to basic ballet steps.

Movement and Music classes are a first introduction to dance for our youngest students. Movement and Music 1 is co-attended by both the student and their supportive adult. Recommended for 2 year olds.

Movement and Music classes are a first introduction to dance for our youngest students. Movement and Music 2 is the dancer’s first opportunity at independence. Recommended for 3 year olds.

Our Creative Movement levels introduce ballet movements in a creative fun environment. Although children mature at different rates we ask that all students start in the class of the age they are on Sept 1. Creative Movement 1 is for 4 year olds.

As the students age and mature more ballet movements and terms are introduced. This level is for 6 years old, First Grade.

Designed for children 7 years old, Ballet Fundamentals presses on toward our Student Division and adds a second day per week of curriculum. Students focus on basics and begin barre work.
