Children’s Division

Tutu Toddlers

Toddlers explore and develop their basic motor skills and coordination, while cultivating rhythmic awareness and use of imagination with their participating adult. This class prepares them to move to the next level, Creative Movement. 18 months to 3½ yrs. old, with adult participation

Creative Movement (CM)

Students continue to explore movement with increasing complexity and awareness of motor skills, while beginning to incorporate basic ballet steps and terminology. 3½ to 5 years old

Pre-Ballet (Pre)

This is an introductory ballet class for students with no previous ballet or dance experience. Students begin learning the fundamentals and terminology of ballet technique. This class emphasizes proper body placement and musicality. Age 5 and older

Beginning Ballet I, II, & III (BBI, BBII, BBIII)

This class is for students with at least 1 year of pre-ballet training. Students will expand barre work in intensity and duration and will be introduced to beginning center work. The beginning ballet syllabus spans 3 consecutive skill levels. Age 6 and older
