Our 2026 Summer Intensives and Camps offer an unparalleled opportunity for dancers at every stage, from young beginners in imaginative themed camps to pre-professional students seeking rigorous, transformative training. Curated by Sacramento Ballet’s Artistic Liaison, Elise Elliott, alongside our esteemed faculty, these programs nurture technique, artistry, and performance in a supportive and creatively stimulating environment.

SENIOR INTENSIVE 

June 15 – July 17
Ages 14 – 22

Over the course of five weeks in the capital of sunny California, dancers ages 14-22 will take part in a concentrated, comprehensive program with Sacramento Ballet Artistic Staff and Faculty. The Sacramento Ballet Summer Intensive is intended for serious ballet students and is designed to refine technique, artistic expression, and musicality to prepare well-rounded, classically trained dancers for a professional career. Classes consist of ballet technique, men’s technique, pointe, male/female variations, pas de deux, modern dance, contemporary dance, jazz, professional repertoire, body conditioning, choreography, hip-hop, workshops and performance.

Auditions are required for the Senior Intensive.

Cost: $4175

Housing: Residence Inn Downtown Sacramento: $86/night; $600/week, $3000/total for 5 weeks

COMPANY REPERTOIRE WEEK (1 Week) (Ages 14 – 22)

July 20th – July 24th
Ages 14 – 22

This new Company Repertoire Week is ideal for the dedicated dancer preparing for a career in professional ballet. Learn choreography from today’s top choreographers in a company style format, taught by Sacramento Ballet Rehearsal Directors, Sacramento Ballet School Division Leads, and Sacramento Ballet Company Members. Dancers will take daily technique classes, learn multiple variations with artistic coaching and character development, as well as participate in the setting of a new work, created for the dancers of the Company Repertoire Week.

Auditions are required for the Company Repertoire Week.

Cost: $900 (students attending all 5 weeks of the Senior Intensive receive 10% off this tuition)

JUNIOR INTENSIVE

July 20 – August 7
Ages 10 – 13 yrs

The Junior Intensive (ages 10-13) broadens the perspective of students and introduces them to a more rigorous training schedule with a variety of classes, including ballet, modern, jazz, repertoire, and musical theater. Dancers will focus on improving artistry and technique with instruction from our supportive Sacramento Ballet Faculty. The week concludes with a short performance for family.

Auditions are required for the Junior Intensive.
