On Wednesday, November 12, 2025, join Sacramento Ballet in celebrating World Ballet Day, the global event that brings together leading companies from around the world to honor the art, and accessibility, of dance.
This year’s theme, “Access Becomes Art,” invites audiences to experience ballet as a shared, transformative language. From professional company class to community wellness programs, Sacramento Ballet proudly shares our classes with the world, to showcase the many ways dance enriches lives at every age and stage here in the Capital of California.
🌍 Our World Ballet Day Livestream Schedule:
9:30–10:00 AM – SBSC Barre with Rhodes Elliott
Our Second Company dancers, who have traveled from across the country to pursue intensive professional training, begin their morning at the barre. Witness their dedication and artistry as they build strength, precision, and focus.
10:00–10:30 AM – Falls Prevention Class Warm-Up
Movement isn’t just for professional dancers. Our FREE Falls Prevention class demonstrates how dance-inspired exercises support balance, mobility, and confidence for older adults, proving there’s a place for everybody in our studios.
10:30–11:00 AM – Company Class – Center with Stefan Calka
Finally, experience our company dancers at the height of artistic excellence. See the culmination of years of training, discipline, and passion.
