Letter from the School Director, Jorge Laico

I would like to welcome each and every student and all families to another beautiful and promising year at School of Sacramento Ballet!

Our school continues to provide the best dance education while making sure to provide a safe and nurturing environment for all of our students, staff, friends, and families. This year, we will begin once again with a performance opportunity for students at Ballet in the Park on Sept 20, 2025 at William Land Park, while our annual Nutcracker Tea takes place November 9th. As the official school of Sacramento Ballet, our students continue to share the stage with the professional dancers in select company productions, and our very own Spring Recital Performances for the Student Division and Pre-professional Division will be at the newly renovated McClatchy High School Audition on May 16 – 17.  The Children’s Division Recital will be held at the Sacramento Ballet studios on May 9.

Our conservatory style approach through a graded syllabus for our Children’s Division, Students Division, through Pre-professional Division is designed to enhance your student’s learning experience. We continue to bring top rate teachers and staff that are committed to your young dancer’s happiness and well-being.  Thank you for your trust, support, and for being a part of our arts community.
