This immersive week-long program invites dancers ages 8–12 to experience Sacramento’s favorite holiday tradition in a whole new way. Students will learn choreography from Nutcracker with Sacramento Ballet’s Youth & Children’s Director and explore excerpts inspired by some of the ballet’s most iconic moments.
Throughout the week, dancers will dive into the story and artistic inspirations behind the production, discovering what makes Sacramento’s homegrown Nutcracker so special. Daily classes include technique, repertoire, enrichment sessions, and more — all designed to refine skills, build confidence, and spark creativity.
The week culminates in a mini showcase on the final day, where students will share what they’ve learned with family and friends.
