This immersive week-long program invites dancers ages 8–12 to explore Sacramento’s favorite holiday tradition in a new way. Students will study choreography from Nutcracker and experience excerpts inspired by some of the ballet’s most iconic moments. They will also delve into the story and its artistic inspirations, and discover what makes Sacramento’s homegrown production so special. Daily classes will include technique, repertoire, enrichment sessions, and more, all designed to help dancers refine their skills and experience the joy of dance this summer.

The week will culminate in a mini showcase on the final day, giving students the opportunity to share what they’ve learned. Join us for a magical week of dance, creativity, and preparation for Nutcracker season! Dancers participating in this camp will receive 50% off their individual ticket to see the Senior Intensive Showcase on Friday, July 17th at the CLARA.
