Ballet announces important step in development with transition to new Executive Director and hiring its first Development Manager.

As the next step in its long-term strategy to develop into one of the preeminent ballet companies in the country, the Sacramento Ballet has announced that it will transition to a new Executive Director for the 2015-2016 season, and that it has hired its first Development Manager, Erica Kobbe.

“The Ballet is on the verge of a golden era of growth, stability, and promise. I am proud to have helped lay some important groundwork for its exciting future” said Caty Solace.

Nancy Garton explained, “as part of our development plan, we needed someone of Caty’s caliber and experience to come in and restructure the backend systems, and she delivered with flying colors.”

With the backend infrastructure in place, “the next step is to bring on an Executive Director that specializes in marketing and building ticket sales for our new home at the Studios, as well as future performances at the Community Center Theater” said Nancy Garton.

In addition, the Ballet will increase its development capacity through the new Development Manager position filled by Erica Kobbe. The Development Manager will be responsible to manage and develop the donor and marketing database for the Ballet.

Caty Solace will continue as a consultant for the Ballet.
