Support the Fred Shadle Fund: Sponsor one of our Dance Education Training Program students in the Race for the Arts on August 28th.
We would like to thank everyone for all your past fundraising efforts for the Sacramento Ballet. This summer, our Dance Education Training Program Students are running in this year’s Race for the Arts to raise money for our Fred Shadle Fund.
Sponsor a DETP student for as little as $5.00 and help give them a reason to run! This past year the fund was used to secure choreography for students, sponsor in part our Boys Ballet class, and secure our first set of costumes used at the Annual Student Demonstration at Hiram Johnson High School.
Here’s how it works: Click here to download a sponsor form and ask your friends, neighbors, relatives, and friends to sponsor one of our Students/Runners.
Any amount will help, even a dollar or two, all checks are made out to Race for the Arts. The best part is 100% of your sponsor’s contributions will go directly to the Fred Shadle Fund. We have 3 students who will be representing the Dance Education Training Program and the Fred Shadle Fund at the race that day and they will be running for you. All donations must be turned in by August 27th to the Sacramento Ballet. There will also be a donation bucket at the front desk for spare change donations to the “Fred Fund”.
The Race for the Arts run/walk takes place on August 28th in William Land Park.
