Celebrating the success of the 2009-2010: Unstoppable Season

Dear Friends,

On behalf of all our colleagues at the Sacramento Ballet, Carinne and I thank you for joining us for our 2009-2010 Unstoppable Season.  It has been a wonderful year of unparalleled successes beginning with the inauguration of our Capital Choreography Competition straight through our evocative Modern Masters series.  We want to thank our superb dancers for their passion and artistry as they electrified the stage all season long.  Stunning highlights of the year included guest artist, Melissa Sandvig, Second Before The Ground, the surprise hit of the season, and the spectacular Carmina Burana.  Many of our intimate in-studio events, lectures, and performances were completely sold out, and we were out in the community more than ever.  Contributing greatly to the success of the season is our dedicated, hard working staff under the dynamic leadership of our new Executive Director, Greg Smith.  We also want to take this opportunity to thank Dr. John de la Vega for his $50,000 challenge grant that captured the imagination of the community who generously matched his gift two for one.

Now, we would like to invite you to join us as we stretch our boundaries with the 2010-2011 Season: Coloring Outside the Lines.  If you haven’t already secured your seats for next season, click here to subscribe.  We look forward to seeing you in the theatre for another season of world class dance.

Sincerely,
Ron & Carinne
