Sacramento Ballet Auditions for the 2012-2013 Season

The Sacramento Ballet will be seeking dancers for Ron Cunningham’s 25th Anniversary 2012-2013 Season.  Positions available at the soloist, corps de ballet, apprentice, and trainee levels. 

Auditions will be held at the Sacramento Ballet Studios by invitation only.  Please send resume and video to Lynlee Towne at the address below.  Include with your resume, a headshot, height, and date of birth.  We prefer to receive materials by mail and not electronically.

Dancers invited to audition will be contacted to take class with the company on the following dates:

February 24, 2012
March 9, 16, 2012
April 4, 11, 2012
May 7, 8, 2012

The company performs approximately 50 times a year.  Repertory for the 2012-2013 season to be announced in the Spring.  In addition to full length classics and the repertory of George Balanchine, past choreographers have included: Trey McIntyre, Septime Webre, Matt Neenan, Amy Seiwert, Val Canaparoli, Dwight Rhoden, Darryl Grand Moultre, Melissa Barak, Agnes de Mille, GlenTetley, and Ron Cunningham. 

Contracts for up to 36 weeks of employment may be available.  Benefits for company members include: Health Insurance, Health Club Membership, Physical Therapy, Chiropractic Service, and Workman’s Compensation.
