A Sacramento Opera, Philharmonic and Ballet Collaborative Performance:
Kicking off the start of the Sacramento theater season is a special concert collaboration presented by The Sacramento Opera, along with The Sacramento Philharmonic and Sacramento Ballet. Arias, Overtures, & Arabesques will take place on Sunday, September 21, 2008 at 2 pm and will feature well known arias, sung by guest artists, many of whom have sung with the Sacramento Opera in past seasons. The Sacramento Philharmonic Orchestra will perform, under the direction of Sacramento Opera Artistic Director Timm Rolek and Sacramento Philharmonic Music Director, Michael Morgan. Sacramento Ballet Artistic Director, Ron Cunningham, will create new works performed by the artists of the Sacramento Ballet.

Discover the ins-and-outs of the artistic process and what it takes to produce a ballet from the beginning of the rehearsal process to the final, spectacular stage presentation.
