CHARACTER ARTIST
Nolan T’Sani
Mr. T’Sani performed as a soloist with the New York City Ballet for ten years partnering some of the great ballerinas of our time such as Suzanne Farrell, Gelsey Kirkland, Patricia McBride, and Allegra Kent. Returning to Sacramento, he became Artistic Director of the Capitol City Ballet and also served as ballet master with the Hong Kong Ballet and Ballet du Nord. He is currently on the faculty of CSUS and is a frequent guest performer and teacher for The Sacramento Ballet.
ASSISTANT BALLET MISTRESS
Sunny Staton
Ms. Staton joined The Sacramento Ballet as an apprentice at age 13 and became a member of the professional company after high school. She danced many principal and soloist roles including The Cowgirl in Rodeo and the title role in the Firebird. Sunny graduated from UC Irvine in June of 2003 with a BFA in choreography and was the recipient of numerous awards and scholarships. She is the Director of the Young Dancers Summer Workshop and she performs often with the California Musical Theatre. This is Sunny’s third season as The Sacramento Ballet’s Education and Outreach Director, Assistant Ballet Mistress, and Program Administrator for Classes with The Sacramento Ballet.
